The health and well-being of our players, families, coaches and community are our number one priority. We will continue to monitor the situation going forward and will follow guidance from governmental, health organizations and our parent leagues.

At this time, we still plan to run Rec-Dev Spring Season with some adjustments below.

  • We have tentatively moved rec-dev spring season to begin May 2nd - June 6th, keeping in mind that this date could change. This will give 6 league games and does remove the free sponsored tournament. There will not be games Memorial Day Weekend.

IEYSA United & Washington East Soccer Club (WESC) Merger for 2020-2021

The Boards of the Washington East Soccer Club and IEYSA United are announcing the merger of our two organizations to operate as a single club beginning with the 2020-2021 soccer season. This merger presents an opportunity to bring our combined talents together and provide a top tier soccer experience for children of all ages in the Greater Spokane area.

It is important that we provide opportunities for our players and families to compete at the highest level they choose. With this thought in mind, Washington East Soccer Club (WESC) will be the Premier level arm and the newly formed WESC Select will represent our neighborhood model by continuing to have teams in the Central, North, South, Valley and West areas of Spokane. IEYSA United will continue as the recreational level program providing opportunities for players to grow in the love of the game and develop to move on to the competitive level they choose.

WESC and IEYSA United have been providing great soccer opportunities to the youth in the greater Spokane area for many years. We strongly believe that as a joint organization we can better serve the community, opening opportunities to increasingly align players with teams that fit their skill level, while also providing a comprehensive pathway for players and coaches to attain the highest level of play and education.

These changes will become effective following the spring season beginning with the registration of tryouts. Any updated information will be emailed and posted on our websites. We are very excited for what this partnership will do for youth soccer.
