IEYSA United provides recreational soccer opportunities for youth ages birth years 2018 (U3) - 2007 (U14) fall and spring. We place players on teams based on their neighborhood based on the elementary school you lived closest to. We have teams in the Northwest, Northeast, North Central, South Hill, Mead, Nine Mile, Riverside, Deer Park, Cheney, Davenport, and Valley areas. Our current game locations are Franklin Park with some games for U9 and older at Plantes Ferry Sports Complex. Camps, free clinics, and tournaments are also offered throughout the year in partnership with Washington East Soccer Club (WESC) and First Touch Training of Spokane (FTT). Under WESC, we offer recreational, select, and premier soccer opportunities for players.

Volunteer coaches are the backbone of our recreational program. They are provided with training curriculum, equipment, a player discount, and support from WESC competitive coaches.

Youth sports are faced with new challenges as we navigate COVID-19. Spokane County is currently in Phase 2 which limits sports activities to a 5:1, player to coach ratio. Games/competitions are not permitted in Phase 2 but should be allowed in phase 3 with a limitation on how many people can be at a field. In Phase 2, youth athletes can train in a 5 player to 1 coach ratio.

When families register in the fall it usually includes fall and spring season, because of COVID, we are only registering for fall. Our hope is to get the players 6 weeks of practices and 4 games in October. Games are not part of the fee, they are sponsored.

WESC PDP Program, Select and Premier Competitive 2020-2021

Returning 2020-21 Copa players not registered by November 1st, 2020, are ineligible to receive credits due to COVID.

Competitive soccer teams are available in Spokane and Spokane Valley with WESC! Select teams train 2 days and week and premier teams train 3 days a week.

WESC is still placing players birth years 2010-2002 that have an interest in being on a competitive team.

WESC PDP Program U9 & 10 (2012 & 2011)

Washington East SC Player Development Program's (PDP) primary objective is to introduce U9 - U10 players to the basic technical skills and training habits required for playing competitive soccer. While there is increased competition, our emphasis is on developing complete and confident players who are not afraid to take risks. The format of PDP encourages players to master ball-handling techniques and individual player creativity in a fun, yet educational environment.
