IEYSA's focus for the 2018-19 season is to continue to provide all levels of soccer for ages 4-19 in and around Spokane. We continue to have a strong and growing Recreational-Development (Rec-Dev) program for younger players that supports our competitive teams and will continue to focus on our neighborhood soccer model that we have always offered.

With the ever-changing soccer landscape, we know that there are numerous options for families when it comes to playing soccer. We would like to take a moment to help you navigate what IEYSA United offers for soccer players and coaching options in your current geographical area for 2018-2019. IEYSA United is not starting a new league, all competitive teams will play in the same Puget Sound Premier League (PSPL) as they always have.

Below are the benefits for competitive coaches and players that want to coach or play soccer with IEYSA United:

  • Only volunteer coaches
  • Designated Director of Coaching that is dedicated to only supporting coaches and will not coach a team.
  • Coaching education and resources, including financial assistance towards licensing.
  • Practice commitment is 2 times a week for select and 3 times a week for premier.
  • Multi-sport athletes are welcomed, encouraged, and supported.
  • Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager will receive $125 off their player's registration fee for volunteering their time (Evergreen and Cascade FC)
  • The required uniform kit will consist of 2 jerseys, short and socks for around $100.
  • IEYSA fees will cover practice fields (year-round including turf option when available) game fields, referees, insurance, league fees, equipment, 4 academy trainings, administration and operation (registration for league, rosters, passcards, facility insurance certificates, game scheduling).
  • There is absolutely no change to where teams are currently playing for league. Teams will continue to play in the Puget Sound Premier League (PSPL) as they always have, and the Rec-Dev teams will continue to play in the IEYSA Rec-Dev league with teams from all over the Spokane area.

Please watch your email as we will be sending out more information regarding community meetings and tryouts. If you are interested in coaching or playing soccer with IEYSA United in 2018-19, please contact Danae Heuett at (509) 474-0057 or
